If you have durable gutter guards in place, we will only be clearing debris off the top of the guards. We will not uninstall or reinstall guards unless discussed with the client and considered in pricing.
3. Moss Treatment
For our roof treatment services, we use zinc sulphate mono-hydrate powdered applications in wetter weather conditions or when rain is expected in near-term weather forecasting, and it is applied to the ridge caps. We may apply additional lines to the roof surface, especially in moss-prone areas. See the attached document for reference.
We use Citrus Oil in liquid form and directly spray it onto the roof surface when no rain is expected in near-term weather forecasting. We may also use Citrus oils on steep roofs, as applying zinc by hand may be too dangerous.
4. Roof Inspection
Our roof maintenance company in Salem provides annual roof cleanings and inspections to ensure no immediate leak issues and avoid compromising your roof’s structural integrity. In addition, we are looking for other exceptional roofing services that may be needed, such as skylight cleaning or permanent harness installations.
Some of these items are included in the maintenance cost; others need client approval and are extra. We are looking for the following items:

Nailing Loose flashing and caulking where needed (included)
Caulking Torn ridge caps or nailing back loose gutters (included)

5. Clean up
With our clean-up, the intention is to clean up any mess we create.
If we get windows, siding, decks, etc., muddy from the metal roof and gutter cleaning process on your Salem home, we will be rinsing off those areas.
We cannot take large amounts of debris off-premise. We ask to use the client’s yard debris bins primarily. If excess debris still remains, we can place it in a burn pile or bag up debris and place it next to the debris bin to be disposed of later.
